A Mid-Century Modern pendant lamp, sometimes attributed to Louis Kalff and produced during the 1950s or 1960s.
It features a wide, drum-shaped metal shade finished in a distinctive mustard yellow lacquer. The shade is suspended by an conical stem made of warm Teak wood. The cutouts in the top of the shade allow for subtle uplighting, creating a ambient glow against the ceiling. Inside the shade is the internal plastic radial louvre/grid diffuser at the base, which softens the downward light and creates a spiral pattern.
Provides effective, glare-free directional light and gentle ambient uplighting.
Good vintage condition. The painted metal shows minor surface wear. The Teak suspension is well-preserved.
