Floor lamp designed by Enrique Franch for the Spanish manufacturer Metalarte.

This piece features a tall, reflective chrome tubular column set upon a weighted cast iron base. The fixture utilizes an adjustable horizontal chrome rod that allows the hemispherical shade to be raised or lowered. The shade is connected via a signature coiled electrical cord and can be tilted to focus the light precisely. The contrast of the polished chrome against the black shade and base offers a Mid-Century Modern and industrial aesthetic. Also available in white and bordeaux.

Good vintage condition. The base and the outer shade have been repainted black. The exterior of the shade has a few small nicks/dents, and the inner reflective surface shows wear.
