Pendant lamp featuring a dual-layer glass construction. The fixture consists of an transparent cylinder in a deep lilac hue which houses an inner, opaline glass diffuser. This inner core conceals the light source and softens the output, while the lilac exterior provides a saturated color accent and a subtle tint to the ambient glow.
The use of nested glass cylinders and the specific color palette are characteristic of European lighting production from the late 1960s and early 1970s, particularly within the Scandinavian or Italian traditions of functional art glass.
Suited to suspension over a bedside table or in a small dining nook where a focused, atmospheric light is required. Good vintage condition, consistent with age and use. Both glass components are intact without chips or visible cracks.
