Wrought Iron Medieval Revival Cage Chandelier
This wrought iron chandelier is a large example of the Medieval Revival style. The fixture features a central ring supporting ten candle-style lights, resting per two on four scrolled arms that terminate in a decorative twisted iron spike. The structure is suspended by five chains made from quatrefoil links, converging at a central hub with a twisted iron stem. The ironwork has a dark, time-worn patina that enhances its rustic character.
Ideally suited for a dining room, entrance hall, or country kitchen with high ceilings, adding a touch of historic charm and robust elegance.
Good vintage condition. The iron shows natural surface oxidation and patina consistent with age. Has been rewired.
