We have three cylindrical pendant lamps manufactured by RAAK Amsterdam.
This Dutch Mid-Century Modern design features a simple, clean white-painted metal cylinder paired with a thick, solid clear glass diffuser at the base. The heavy glass bottom is the defining element, designed to efficiently refract and direct a beautiful, concentrated light downward. The minimalist form and functionality are typical of RAAK's design philosophy from the 1960s to 1970s. The fixture is excellent for task lighting or creating a focused pool of light, particularly when hung in a linear arrangement over a kitchen island, bar, or dining table. The ceiling canopy is marked "raak amsterdam."
Provides focused, downward light with a warm, concentrated glow created by the solid glass.
Good vintage condition. The solid glass diffusers are in perfect condition. The white paint on the metal cylinders shows some wear consistent with age and use.
