'Crowfoot' desk lamp, designed by Karl-Heinz Kinsky for Cosack in the 1950's. This table lamp is easily recognized by its particular tripod base, resembling a crow's foot. It is made from cast iron which has a nice structure. The curved rod and joint are made of brass. Both the lampshade and the foot are lacquered in soft grey.
With its elegant design, this lamp can be put in many places, such as the reception, the livingroom or the bedroom.
The top of the shade has a dent, as is shown in the pictures, otherwise the lamp is in a very good condition.
Often described as a design by Louis Kalff for Philips, this is not the case as we can see in the catalogue of Cosack from 1961.
