Kalmar Leuchten Wall Sconce Amber Brown Textured Glass

A brutalist wall light from the Austrian manufacturer Kalmar Leuchten, featuring a thick, organic-shaped semi-sphere shade of brown art glass. The glass possesses a heavy, textured surface and an uneven, free-form rim, characteristic of Kalmar's quality glasswork from the 1960s and 1970s. The solid glass diffuses the light with a deep amber glow, while the open bottom directs functional light downwards. A subtle pull-chain switch is integrated into the metal base. This highly textural piece creates a dramatic and warm illumination for hallways or living spaces.

Excellent vintage condition. Minimal wear to the metal backplate; the heavy glass shade is intact.
