German Space Age Telescoping 'Eyeball' Lamp by Eichhoff-Werke

A playful and functional example of 1970s German design, manufactured by Eichhoff-Werke. This compact table lamp features a "signal orange" plastic base and matching shade housing. The defining feature is the telescoping chrome arm, which extends from a low profile (10 cm) up to a height of 44 cm. When collapsed, it resembles a futuristic sphere; when extended, it functions as a precise task lamp.

Perfect for a small bedside table, a child's desk, or as a bright pop of color on a vintage sideboard.

Good vintage condition. The plastic is bright and glossy. The chrome telescoping arm functions well. Minor signs of use consistent with age.
