The 'Eiffel' pendant is a structural study in light control, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1963. The fixture is composed of a solid copper-toned inner cylinder surrounded by four precise, black-lacquered metal rings.
The tiered construction prevents direct glare while reflecting light against the warm, orange-lacquered interior core. This creates a soft ambiance typical of Hammerborg’s lighting philosophy. The strict contrast between the matte black exterior and the glowing center gives the lamp a sculptural presence, whether illuminated or unlit.
Provides warm, atmospheric downlight and a soft peripheral glow, ideal for dining areas or creating mood in a living space. Excellent vintage condition. The piece is well-preserved with minimal signs of wear.
