Black and Copper "Tunika" Pendant by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1960

Regular price €315,00
Description

The 'Tunika' pendant is a precise exercise in layered materials, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in the 1960s. The fixture features a central, solid copper cylinder that is partially encased by a floating, matte black metal band.

The design is engineered to create a specific lighting effect: the interior of the black outer ring is lacquered in a warm orange. When illuminated, light reflects off this orange surface onto the polished copper core, generating a deep, golden glow that softens the fixture's industrial profile. This piece retains its original manufacturer's label.

Provides focused downlight with a warm, decorative side emission, suitable for hanging in pairs or as a solitary accent light. Excellent vintage condition. The piece is in a very well-preserved state.
