Substantial pendant light, produced by the German firm Cosack Leuchten in the 1960s or 70s, is defined by its impressive scale and pure form. The shade is crafted from high-quality, mold-blown opaline glass, featuring a voluminous, bulbous silhouette that tapers into a polished chrome metal cap.
The satin white glass diffuses light evenly, creating a soft, ambient glow while directing functional light downwards through the open rim. The minimalist chrome fitting provides a sharp, industrial contrast to the soft organic curve of the glass. Its large size makes it a commanding presence in a room.
Provides bright, diffuse ambient lighting and direct downlight, ideal for high ceilings, stairwells, or suspended low over a dining table. Good vintage condition. The glass is in perfect condition. The chrome metal cap has a very small dent consistent with age.
