Large Olive Green Baluster Lamp with Rectangular Shade

This substantial table lamp combines a traditional Neoclassical silhouette with the scaling of 1970s design. The base is crafted from high-gloss glazed ceramic in a sophisticated shade of olive-celadon green. The form features a baluster body with vertical ribbing details on the neck and the square pedestal base. It is topped with a dramatic, rectangular shade in dark fabric, finished with gold braided trim, which creates a striking geometric contrast to the curves of the ceramic.

A commanding piece suitable for a large console table, sideboard, or as a pair flanking a sofa.

Good vintage condition. The ceramic is free of chips or cracks. The shade is original to the piece and shows minor signs of age appropriate to the period.
