Pendant light produced by the German manufacturer Cosack Leuchten in the 1960s or 70s. The design is characterized by its bell-shaped silhouette, crafted from mold-blown opaline glass that flares gently at the rim.
The glass is anchored by a polished chrome cap, a signature detail of Cosack's modernist lighting range. The satin white glass acts as a perfect diffuser, emitting a soft, uniform glow without glare, while the open bottom provides ample direct light for surfaces below. The flared form adds a touch of organic softness to the strict industrial materials.
Provides ambient room lighting and functional downlight, well-suited for a dining table or kitchen island. Good vintage condition. Light signs of age and use consistent with time.
