Sunburst mirror produced in Europe during the 1960s.
Crafted from carved wood with a patinated gilt finish. The frame features an asymmetrical, jagged starburst motif with deeply striated rays radiating from a stepped, concentric inner border. At the center sits a 14 cm convex mirror, a characteristic detail of the period that provides a wide-angle reflection and added depth to the piece.
Suited for placement above a mantelpiece, in an entryway, or incorporated into a gallery wall.
Very Good. Light wear consistent with age, including minor patina and subtle rubbing to the gilt finish on the outer edges. Structurally sound.
