Danish Mid-Century Curved Floating Shelves, 1960s
Three-tier wall shelf produced by the Danish manufacturer Dyrlund. The design is characterized by its organic, rounded edges and seamless joinery, typical of Dyrlund's high-quality cabinetmaking in the mid-20th century. Executed in warm-toned teak, the unit features solid wood moulded edges that soften the rectangular profile. The open structure provides substantial display space while maintaining a light visual footprint on the wall.
An elegant, functional addition for displaying books, ceramics, or kitchen essentials in a mid-century interior.
Vintage condition. The piece shows visible signs of use, including surface scratches and marks on the shelf tops, consistent with its age and history.
