An extensive archive of vintage glass, porcelain and ceramic elements from the 1960s, used by AM Antwerp to create bespoke lighting for private interiors, hospitality spaces, retail environments, events and architectural projects.

The collection contains a remarkable variety of unused vintage deadstock components. Some designs are available in quantities of several hundred, making them suitable for large-scale installations and repeating patterns. Others survive in only limited numbers and can be incorporated into unique chandeliers, wall lights, floor lamps and decorative light sculptures.

Floral porcelain forms, richly glazed ceramic pieces, coloured glass pendants and clear pressed-glass elements give the collection its distinctive visual language. Variations in colour, decoration, shape and transparency allow each lighting design to be developed around the atmosphere and architectural character of a particular space.

Rather than adapting an existing lamp, AM Antwerp designs each structure around the selected vintage elements. Frames can be made to measure according to the dimensions, ceiling height, layout and technical requirements of the project. The result can range from an intimate wall sconce to a monumental chandelier measuring up to ten metres in length, or a sculptural floor lamp reaching 350 centimetres in height.

Previous commissions demonstrate the extraordinary versatility of the archive. Custom wall sconces were created for Cobra and Cobra House in Antwerp. A grand-scale chandelier was produced for a Miu Miu catwalk, while approximately 2,000 vintage glass pendants were arranged as illuminated glass curtains around the concrete structure of YUST in Liège. Other installations include luminous glass pillars for a wedding celebration at De Roma in Antwerp.

Existing designs include a four-metre chandelier assembled from golf-ball-shaped porcelain elements, a monumental chandelier in yellow glass and towering Glass Pillar floor lamps constructed around custom steel frames. Each project transforms forgotten mid-century components into an entirely new architectural lighting object.

Because the collection combines substantial quantities with small groups of rare designs, projects can be developed as individual statement pieces, matching series or large immersive installations. Colours and materials can be mixed or kept uniform, while the supporting structure, dimensions, suspension and lighting effect are designed specifically for the intended interior.

This is not simply a collection of vintage glass and ceramics. It is a flexible material archive for creating one-of-a-kind lighting that connects mid-century decorative craftsmanship with contemporary engineering and spatial design.
